This is a documented Zimmerman Factory built DP935 slant nose Turbo from Germany. This is the REAL DEAL! This 935DP was DP Motorsports show car for the company during the 1983 Geneva and Frankfurt car shows, before being shipped to the US. The car has been garage stored for over 20 years and has been well maintained and looks good with less than 10k miles. Runs SUPER FAST! This 935 DP was built as a V-Roan Group Manalogous Racing. The interior has the DP Deluxe Sports package, Black leather throughout, A/C Heat, power windows, Recaro seats, power sun roof, original Alpine radio amplifier sound system with front and rear speakers. It has the adjustable Turbo Power Boost knob between the seats as the authentic DP’s are known for. This 935DP is number three of seven built in 1983. VERY RARE CAR! The motor is a stock Zimmerman Big Single High Boost Turbo Engine with air to air inter oil cooler modified to 480hp. The car although born as a Race Car in Germany, has never been Raced. This is the DP of DP’s, fun to drive or just simply to stare at. It’s a show stopper standing still or while being driven, Guaranteed!
History:
The car has been Family owned since it was bought from a renowned car broker. The car was purchased as a 935 Turbo in Germany directly from the Porsche authorized Zimmerman DP Motorsports Company. It has always been a Florida car. The car in February of 1984, legally conformed to EPA/DOT standards/US conversion and became street compliant. The car is number three out of seven 935DP Turbos built in 1983, which were considered at the time as the Fastest in the World.
